HEAD HEART HANDS CONSULTING

About us

Christina Farinacci-Roberts is the proud daughter of a Korean immigrant Tiger Mom and an Italian American veteran dad, as well as a first generation college graduate who became one of the youngest NYCDOE high school principals and then founded Head Heart Hands Consulting (HHH) a decade later when she became the poster child for the “Sandwich Generation” after her mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis and right before her son’s second birthday. Christina was inspired to pursue a career in education because she saw the ways in which her mother’s lack of a formal education hindered her ability to maximize her innate brilliance and advance herself as far as she could have with a more privileged background. Christina sought to ensure her students’ zip codes didn’t determine their destinies in the ways that she felt like her mother’s had, and once she broadened her work into consulting, she sought to expand her scope of impact to accelerate success for individuals and teams across industries and leadership levels.
As a learning architect, Christina creates holistic and human- centered programming that enlightens the Head, engages the Heart and empowers the Hands. The learning experiences she offers are interactive and immersive, driving substantive change and fueling sustainable growth. Christina also combines the W.I.D.E. Dynamic Dialogues framework with adult learning theory and the Enneagram to unleash and uplift the purpose, power and potential of all.
Prior to founding HHH, Christina was the principal and CEO of the first all girls independent charter high school in New York State where she advanced leadership and closed achievement gaps for girls of color. Christina has a proven track record for turning around institutions that were struggling to attain equitable outcomes for their students. In New York City, she worked as a principal and former teacher in some of the most underperforming and historically underserved districts. Both positions required her to engage in successful change management through completely transforming the organizations’ cultures to create a common vision, sense of urgency and strong community that propelled growth and advanced goals. As the sole Subject Matter Expert for the Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education (CRSE) module of NYSED’s T.A.L.E. (Teaching Across Learning Environments) Academy, she developed a curriculum for a state-wide learning development platform with CEU training for NYSED’s 200k+ teachers.
